PINK OR BLUE?! Tomorrow is the day we have been waiting for forever! We get to find out what we are having! My sister Lacie is pregnant too, due the day before me, and she just found out she is having her 2nd boy! We are so excited! Now we just need to find out what we are having... I guess we will find out soon enough:)
We're having a baby!! We couldn't be more excited to bring a lil' rugrat into the Beck home! I'm 14 weeks along, due July 18. We get to find out what we are having in about 3 weeks!
Let me just say I have the sweetest husband in the world! My brother Brandon just got married on our anniversary, so I thought we were just going to give each other cards and celebrate it another day.. I was wrong! As I was helping my mom decorate for the reception, JD secretly went up to Salt Lake and checked in the most beautiful hotel room! He took me up there after the reception and I walk in to find rose petals sprinkled everywhere! He set roses in different spots around the room with a reason he loved me taped to each one. With the last rose there was a box. I opened the box and found the prettiest diamond band to match my wedding ring! I am so lucky to have such a sweet husband who is so thoughtful and my best friend! I love you so much Babe!
Last weekend we ran the Red Rock Relay with a few of our friends and it was a BLAST!! Each team has 12 people- 2 vans of 6, and you run a total of 186 miles.. We started up at Brian Head ski resort and ended at Zions National Park. It took us 30 hours and we got a total of 2-3 hours of sleep. Doesn't sound too fun but it really was one of the funnest trips we've ever been on!
JD after his last run.. good job Babe:)
4:00 a.m. getting ready to run our final legs! wooo!
You got a stripe for each leg you ran. These were hard earned stripes!
Our team name "Don't act like you're not impressed" from Anchor Man:)
This summer JD and I went to Escalante to go hiking and canyoneering! It was so much fun and so risky:) We camped in our backpacking tent and hiked and rappelled all day long. We tied our gear around a rock and hoped that it held as we rappelled down the cliff! I was so nervous on the first one- I for sure thought the rock would be comin down with us, but sure enough it worked! We also hiked through slot canyons that were sooo skinny. There were a few points where JD had to suck in and shove his body through. If you're at all claustrophobic, you don't wanna hike these canyons! JD getting ready to do an 80ft rappel off of a rock!
We just got back from Puerta Vallarta, Mexico last week and had a blast! We went deep sea fishing, rappelling, and rode zip lines through the jungle:) It was so tropical- not like you would picture Mexico... Definitely a great vacation place:) The water was so warm, so we spent a ton of time body surfing and boogie boarding! What a fun trip!
JD and I were married on November 6, 2008! JD is from American Fork, UT and I'm from Mesa, AZ. We are currently living in Orem, UT stayin busy with work and school... Married life is the best:)
