Carter David Beck

Carter David Beck is finally here! After 20 hrs. of labor and 2 epidurals (that didn't work) he arrived:) It wasn't an easy go at first. He came out blue and not breathing with the cord wrapped around his neck. He was born with a really bad infection and fluid in his lungs. After 6 days in the NICU he is doing awesome. The doctors were amazed at how fast his little body fought off the infection. We went to the doc today and he has gained 8 oz. in one week! We are now up to 7 1bs. 14 oz. He is going to be a tank! He likes to eat all day long. We are so thankful for our little man and are so happy that he is home and healthy:)

an update!

Wow! It has been a really long time since I've updated whats going on in our lives! Since last post, JD got accepted into the Masters program at BYU for clinical social work, we bought a house, and we have a baby due in 3 weeks!! Life has been great and crazy! We have been busy getting everything settled into our house and getting the nursery ready for Mr. Carter:) I can't believe it's already time to have him! It has gone by SO fast..
I haven't taken too many pics since I've been pregnant, so my sister and I decided to do a little photo shoot:) 34 weeks...

The Verdict is...

It's a BOY!!! Carter David Beck is on his way and we couldn't be more excited!:) It was so neat to watch the ultrasound yesterday and see how much bigger he has gotten and how developed he already is.. It's definitely starting to feel more real and I'm loving it! I can't wait to see his chubby cheeks!

Pink or Blue?!

PINK OR BLUE?! Tomorrow is the day we have been waiting for forever! We get to find out what we are having! My sister Lacie is pregnant too, due the day before me, and she just found out she is having her 2nd boy! We are so excited! Now we just need to find out what we are having... I guess we will find out soon enough:)

We're having a baby!! We couldn't be more excited to bring a lil' rugrat into the Beck home! I'm 14 weeks along, due July 18. We get to find out what we are having in about 3 weeks!
